Donation process

  • On the donation side, C@rma is working with reputable Civil Organisations which are, according to the law, audited on a yearly basis.
  • To enhance the confidence of donors in projects, C@rma is working with volunteer auditors to increase the transparency on how money is spent on projects.

  • Auditors of projects are working in reputable audit firms but are taking this assignment as a personal volunteer.

  • They are not remunerated neither by the NGOs or by C@rma. Their role is purely volunteering to support C@rma in giving trust to the donor of money.

  • A published project means that an auditor is aware that the NGO posted this project and that (s)he accepts to follow the good disbursement of this project. At this stage, it is not an attest that the project is real and well- funded.

  • Once the project is closed and the money disbursed, the Civil Organization is submitting to the auditor various documents.

  • Based on these documents and potential exchange between the auditor and the Civil Organization, the auditor will change the status to "reviewed" in C@rma.

Payments

The Site enables the User to process donation. The Site does not handle payments for these donation directly, but rather refers these payments to a secure third-party payment processor which handles all aspects of the payment process.

C@rma is not liable from any default in the money transfers even though C@rma is working with a volunteer auditor for the transparency policy of C@rma.Any payment issues or disputes should be resolved directly with the payment processor.
